i went to school around 2pm Saturday afternoon and didn't come home till 4pm the next day. i'm so zonked. i thought about crashing as soon as i got home but i decided to remain active instead. my partner and i worked all night and day to complete our set of working drawings to turn in by Tuesday. we wanted to finish the 2d drawings and be done with them so we could have time to work with the 3d ones.some time around 3am, he and i decided we weren't going to leave the studio until we were done completely. it feels good to be done.
as soon as i got home, jeremy and i took off to get food and go to fry's electronics. we had a late late late lunch around 4pm at Jason's Deli. I got a build your own sandwich. i always get it with smoked turkey, wheat bread, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, sprouts, and mustard. yum yum yum. i usually love their complimentary ice cream but their vanilla was all out. :( bum bum. i'm a vanilla villain not a chocolate chica.
we went to fry's after that. i was falling asleep in the car. when we got there, i was very disappointed to find that the thing i really wanted was on sale but there was only one left. i was going to get my brother the same thing for this birthday which is this weekend...that means, i had to buy the last one for my brother. i came up short handed. jeremy found some stuff to buy though. he bought a 208 cd case for 14 bucks and a lap top power adaptor for the car. the adaptor plugs into the car outlet but has an actually plug outlet you can stick your appliance to.. pretty nifty.
i was so disappointed and cranky after fry's that jeremy took me to best buy and old navy. i ended up coming short at those places as well. jeremy found several short sleeve shirts at old navy and i picked out a dark grey shirt for him that turned out to be 2 dollars. coolio. SO...since i came out empty handed again, Jeremy took me to Bed Bath and Beyond. we bought some stuff for mother's day and i finally found something i really wanted. it was a set of 100 cookie cutters! now i get to make fun looking cookies and brownies. yeah! i also got a baking sheet especially made for cookies.
on the way home i dozed in and out of sleep. i thought for sure that when i got home, i would crash. instead, i took a shower and started cleaning the leftover clutter from our room. i put away the gifts we bought and started a load of laundry. i'm trying not to crash too soon. i want to stay on a normal schedule. plus, i'm kind of hungry. i don't want to miss dinner.
i don't know what day it is. Sunday.. yeah.. so that's been my weekend so far.

no fun really...
but mavs did win the playoffs
got my studio work pretty much done
got to go shopping
jeremy and john are playing No One Lives Forever 2 right now. i was thinking of joining.
a half alive player. it should be fun.
