good sammich, good basketball

we ended up going to the grocery store last night and getting the stuff for my favorite sammich. i got it made just the way i liked. only i was wanting another sandwich after i ate the first one. that normally doesn't happen at jason's deli. i'm also usually gulping down a huge drink of dr. pepper too. i had some chips and salsa with it. c and s are my downfall. i normally judge the quality of a good mexican restaurant by its chips and salsa.

jeremy made me watch the mavericks vs kings game. i didn't want to watch it because whenever i watch and root for a team, they always lose. but what do you know, they won. it's going to be two texas teams for the western conference finals. spurs vs mavs. i think it's time for the mavs to win a championship. if only they can play a little more consistently, they'd be great. nowitzki needs to step up and do what he does naturally, nash needs to cash in on his goal attempts, van exel needs to keep whatever he's doing up cuz its working, and the rest of the team has got to do whatever it can to support their key shooters and do whatever it takes to hold tim duncan back.

either way, a texas team goes to the finals...so i'm happy about that. i don't know why i'm back into basketball all the sudden. i was really into the NBA stuff when i was in high school and then i lost touch with it for awhile. maybe it's because texas hasn't been doing so well since the rockets and spurs were champs.

i finished watching the matrix, first one, last night so i would be ready to watch the sequel this morning. we missed the first showing at 10:30am. i just couldn't get up. we ended up seeing the 11:30am showing instead. i'll post more on that later.
