well, he did it. he bought a new car today.
we were car shopping all day long. we first looked
at the passats. the dealership didn't have the color or interior
that he wanted but were offering a pretty reasonable price
for a passat. they said they'd get back to us on Monday morning.
big mistake. oh well. i didn't want one of those anyhow.

i called my dad and asked him how much he paid for his
fully loaded accord. i took that price and we went to go see
what we could get out of the honda dealers. we had to haggle them down a little
more. jeremy's such a sucker. if i weren't there, he would have paid
ticket price! hehehe. okay, not that bad but pretty close. he ended up
getting a fully loaded, leather interior, 6 cd-exchanger in the dash, and all the other goodies. it's very pretty. i'm a honda fan so i supported it more than the passat.
it was a lot cheaper though but not as good financing. anyhoo, we traded in his truck and drove off with a brand new car. spiffy... eating into our nest egg..but hell, i'm not planning on getting married or having kids so what the hell.

p.s. i hate dealers...their money grubbig selfish assholes who make you feel like shit
if you don't buy a car THAT day. you have to have a lot of patience to get
really good deals, you know..otherwise, you just by pass heartache and fork out the money.
