whew... i didn't eat the lunch i brought. a couple of us walked to downtown to go see the Hafele bus. Hafele is a manufacturing company for various furniture parts. They had a sample bus set up for people to come tour. They also were offering a free lunch to the Corner Bakery with a visit. :)

The tour was kind of short. The stuff displayed was pretty cool.
Afterwards, we walked to the Corner Bakery to get our free lunch...a sammich,
a salad or soup, and chips and a drink.
i got a turkey sammich, a ceasar salad, chips, and a dr pepper.

It was pretty good. We sat around and ate, bashed our company, and complained about working. You know, the standard hoopla of substandard work...hehehe.

anyhow, while we were in line ordering our food, one of my co-workers (in marketing dept) made this whole big fuss about what we were supposed to get with our free meal. it was very embarrassing and she was so slow to pick up what was going on.
she insisted that we get the box lunch and they insisted that we get the combo meal.
all she wanted to do was make sure what she was ordering was free but the way it came out made it sound like she was trying to haggle them. uuuh!

oh well, now it's back to working on walmart... i'm laying out the floor plan sheet now.
i'll let you know when it gets exciting. hehehehe..
